Then there is the inevitable surge in urbanization — even in overcrowded Cities in India. With a few million more people in India expected to ‘urbanise’ within the next decade, the entire country will face the problem of affordable housing.

Linked to that is the question:

Why has it not been possible? What are the things that should be done to make it possible?  Why has ‘affordable housing’ become both a social and political issue in the first place? Is it because houses are not affordable? Is this peculiar only to metropolitan areas, or does it extends to the whole of India? What should be done to make houses more affordable?

Indeed, the Obsolete infrastructure has turned as curse for the society.

A proper channel and frame work is required to fight from the deficiency of Affordable house in India. In wake of that, Government and private business developers have to set some concrete goal and policies on housing so that it is ensured that everyone has the opportunity of living in a decent home, which they can afford, in a community where they want to live.

Hope, concept of affordable housing will pave a way to that direction.
